Who Am I?

So I’m … sometimes one of Edward Lear’s (We’re having another nonsensing!) Tumbly Jumblies, sometimes one of Tolkien’s Hobbits (I’m so hungry!). Sometimes Oscar Wilde’s Selfish Giant or ‘Whoo-hoo‘ Bluster-Boy the North Wind!

At other times I might be … the young musician Seppy who plays his fiddle to calm the angriest confrontation, or Selfius the Giant who befriends a young child, or Simon the young farmer guiding his geese to Smithfield Market whilst fending off wolves!

Having revised and updated my most successful musicals I have written newly published works both with and without music. All are described on this website – EarWorm Musicals. Ideas are already furtively buzzing for the plays and musicals which will be published here as soon as they’ve been trialled in front of real audiences.

Always excited to be arranging music, composing tuneful musicals and MD-ing with many brilliant theatre groups in Bristol and the South West of England. Loving the camaraderie and fun of leading musicians and performers to create memorable experiences. Pantomimes, concerts, revues and Festival programming are all part of an extensive repertoire and experiences which I bring to all my musical activities.

Having conducted choirs at London’s Albert Hall and Bristol venues including the Victoria Rooms, Colston Hall and Hippodrome I enjoy working under pressure when leading musical groups towards excellence.

Have you an idea that needs a musician as a collaborator? I’m always on the lookout for new possibilities. Should you have a project that you want to develop, please make contact. Look forward to hearing from you.
